Senior Java Software Engineer/Software Engineer (multiple positions open)

We are looking for talented software engineers who are interested in developing high end, high volume, highly available transaction processing platform . A successful candidate would be a dedicated, self-motivated engineer who is *highly skilled* at working with web based service oriented platform, XML, Web Services, and Java/J2EE applications and has a constant Object-Oriented Design mindset. Our transaction processing platform processes tens of thousands of transactions every day and is scaled to perform millions of transactions every day.

If you love working on new products and technologies and like to tackle software complexities on day to day basis and want to work in a dynamic, highly motivated, technology environment, here is what we are looking for:

• 3-15 years of experience in software development.
• Knowledge of whole software development life cycle.
• 2-10 years of experience in Core Java, Servlet, XML, JDBC, Tomcat, Ant.
• 1-8 years of experience in writing SQL queries and Stored Procedures on Oracle.
• Experience in developing applications on Linux or other Unix flavors.
• Xsl experience is a plus. Mobile experience is a plus.

We have talented people on our team and have been working with some of them for 10+ years in other companies. We are looking at global opportunities but focused primarily in the domestic U.S. for now. The platform we have built is 24x7x365 with a full secondary site 1,500 miles away. We are PCI level 1, HIPAA and SAS 70 compliant. There is very little day-to-day development since we do not have that many issues. We rarely have any production problems. The main reason is we have built systems like this in the past and know most of the pitfalls - you never really know them all. That allows the engineering team to spend a great majority of time on building new product and service offerings. You will be working with some advanced level engineers and Architects. It will not be boring so if you want to jump onto a fast moving organization, this is it.

One last note: The position is in Simi Valley and candidates will have to commute to office daily. If you are in southern Orange county the commute will drive you crazy so think about the drive. But if you are close, you have a unique chance to join a really sharp, dynamic, and fun team.
